Regular, bi-annual, visits to the dentist's office are critical in keeping your smile healthy for years to come. Check-ups include a visit with your dentist, a cleaning with the hygienist, and x-rays. During your exam, your doctor check for cavities and evaluate your dental health.
Restorative dentistry, includes simple procedures such as composite fillings, as well as those that are a little more complex, such as crowns, bridges, inlays and onlays, and veneers. Restorations are the most commonly preformed procedures done to help restore broken, decayed and otherwise damaged teeth.
Root canals are great because they save teeth that otherwise would have to be removed from the mouth. They have sadly gotten a bad reputation but we assure you with new techniques and technologies, they are comfortable and worry-free!
Just as important as it is to take care of your teeth, so too is it vital to care for your gums. Your gums are what hold your teeth in place. Without them, teeth fall out-- even teeth that are otherwise healthy! Keep your gums healthy with deep cleanings and routine periodontal maintenance every three months.
Are you or a family member missing teeth and need them replaced? Dentures are a great way to regain your smile if you are missing a few or several teeth. Ask your dentist about partial, full, interim, resin, and implant dentures to find the right denture for you.
Implants have now become the preferred way to replace one or missing teeth. With the right candidate, implants can last in the mouth for a lifetime. Ask about implants if you have missing teeth during your next dental visit.
